Welcome to Front Range Bagua! We are practitioners of Yin Style Baguazhang in the lineage of He Jinbao and Dr. Xie Peiqi, and are associated with Yin Style Baguazhang International.

Yin Style Bagua is a combative system based on the Chinese Book of Changes. It promotes health and well-being while developing striking, kicking, throwing, and joint manipulation techniques that are cold, crisp, and fast.

Training methods help harmonize the motion of the whole body with an intent geared toward gaining position, emitting force, and ultimately disrupting and subduing an adversary.

We are primarily active in Boulder County, Colorado however there are members throughout the Front Range area, from Lakewood to Longmont and several places in between.

The group is composed of practitioners of various skill levels, with and without previous martial arts experience. Beginners and experienced practitioners of other martial systems are welcome!

Each member of the group maintains a high level of self-motivation and a rigorous personal practice. You will be expected to do the same and we will work with you to develop a practice that allows you to progress in the art.

We meet outdoors in Boulder or Louisville, spring through fall, once per week. During the winter individual group members make other arrangements and continue to get together frequently. The Boulder Valley YMCAs are favorite gathering places.

If you are interested in training, please contact craig.wright@yinstylebaguazhang.com. You may also join our meetup group, which is the best way to stay up to date with our training schedule.

Private introductions are available.

Please see Introduction to Yin Style Bagua and the rest of our blog for more information about our style.
